This study evaluates the effectiveness of the parent life coaching program offered by Studiezalen in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. The program supports parents in areas such as financial self-sufficiency, digital skills, and Dutch language proficiency. The study examines whether participation in the coaching program is associated with changes in chronic stress among parents. Stress is assessed using both self-reported measures (the Perceived Stress Scale) and a biological marker of stress, hair cortisol concentration. Parents are assessed at the start of the coaching program and again six months later to examine changes over time.
